Pandemonium was a pleasant surprise at Six Flags New England. This is a perfect example of the "you can't judge a book by its cover" mentality. The only reason I rode this during my initial trip was because of my younger sister, but now I make sure I ride it every time I head up to Massachusetts. To be honest, it's probably my third favorite ride at SFNE after Bizarro and Catapult. I wish there were more of these, as they serve as a nice bridge from kiddie coaster to adult coasters.

The Coaster Critic's review is spot-on. Even though I generally like my coasters more wild than Pandemonium I never miss going on it at least once when we visit. And it is a really great family coaster. Watching my son's expressions on his first ever roller coaster ride was one of those moments I'll never forget. I don't think he had any idea what to expect. During the first drop and turn he had an expression of horror which turned to pure exhilaration and joy. I think that one ride made him a coaster fan for life.

The layout is interesting and the ride is silky smooth and seems a bit faster than it really is. Like The Coaster Critic I also enjoy the slightly variable nature of the rides due to the rotating car element.

Highly recommended, even if you're a bit nervous about riding coasters.
