Hurricane Joins the Roller Coaster Obituaries
The Myrtle Beach Pavilion will no longer be home to the CCI wooden coaster known as the Hurricane. For a while the coaster was for sale. You can see Hurricane’s listing here. And surprisingly, the young wooden coaster with an attractive sticker price, went unpurchased. As a result the ride has been levelled.

Hurricane debuted at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion in 2000, at a costs of $6,000,000. It featured a 100 foot drop, speeds of 55 mph, and 14 turns. Hurricane had an average rating of 8.6 with 25 reviews at ThemeParkCritic.com. Full article.
