  SheiKra will be featured on Discovery Channel’s show BUILD IT BIGGER, which premieres Tuesday, July 10th at 10 PM (ET/PT).

  In the show, they refer to Sheikra as the world’s tallest dive coaster. I’m sure it was at the time they filmed, but since late May that title has been transfered to Griffon. Speaking of Griffon, I will finally get a chance to ride it tomorrow. Expect a full review of Griffon later this week. And tune into the Discovery Channel special, Build it Bigger.    Enjoy your ride on Griffon! Last Thurs.,we got on it first thing in the morning and only had a 20 min. wait. You don’t get to pick your seat, though, so I was stuck with row 2. Unfortunately, rows 2 and 3 don’t have a very good view at the top of the first hill. Only row 1 is actually overhanging before the drop. My first ride was fun because it was a “new-to-me coaster,” but I don’t think I would ride it over and over like I would some other coasters (my beloved T-Bolt!). Since I went to Busch Gardens with my dear husband, there were many (TOO MANY!) rides I did not get to do twice, including Griffon. We did get to ride the merry-go-round 3 times in a row without getting off during a thunderstorm, though. I’ll send you a little trip report sometime when I slow down. Went to Geauga lake today and am heading to Dorney Park for the end of this week. Gotta love that MaxxPass!!

   Sounds like you had fun, Judy. And it’s great to hear that you’re getting some use out of that MaxxPass. I thought about getting it for Carowinds & KD, but it might actually be cheaper going to each once with single-day tickets.

   We’ll have to compare notes on Griffon when I get back. Hopefully I’ll get a couple rides on it before the lines get too crazy. I only got one ride on SheiKra which might have affected my lower than expected rating.
