I’m looking forward to seeing this movie more for the comedy aspect of it than for the amusement park setting. I assume the park will only serve as a background to the hijinks. But Bill Hader and Kirsten Wigg are two fantastic performers, so I’m sure this movie will be a hoot!?

What’t the best amusement park movie of all time!?
My vote would probably have to be Rollercoaster. Such great footage of old school Kings Dominion plus a pretty good story too!

I need to rent that movie (Rollercoaster). I’ve seen clips of it online, but I’d love to see the whole thing since I grew up going to that park. I’m adding it to my queue today!

    Thanks for reading.

I thought Rollercoaster was filmed at Six Flags Magic Mountain?? I know for a fact that the main coaster in question is the famous Revolution from SFMM. Unless of course you are talking about a different movie…

Anyways, Adventureland was only okay. It didn’t have much coaster footage at all, and there was WAY too much drug use for my liking. Seemed really boring in many parts too.

I think they could have made it much funnier.

Rollercoaster (I think) was filmed in alot of places but yeah SFMMs Revolution was the star of it. **sigh** I wish there where more movies about roller coasters.

You’re not gonna believe this, but I just got “Rollercoaster” in the mail from Netflix TODAY. Talk about timing!

I should really add it to my Blockbuster Online queue sometime. Just not sure my wife would want to ‘waste’ one of our movies on that movie. I’d love to hear your review sometime Judy. I’m especially curious to know if the movie holds up considering it’s so old.

Gee, no pressure there! I watched it last night. I’ll try to throw together a bit of a review over the weekend. Already mailed it back to Netflix, so it’s yours for the borrowing, Joel! I suggest putting your daughter to bed before you do, though … very “dark” movie.
