I have riddin Led Zeppelin like maby 100 times during Hard Rock's season. It was a good coaster and It never lost it's thrill,well for me anyway. I really like the new name,it offers a great theme for the coaster and covers 5 decades.

I feel these new people FPI-MB may have what it takes to turn things around for the better and I wish them the very best and a bright future,If they make it they'll most likely add new rides for 2010. This Park is a great addition to Myrtle Beach S.C. and still has room to grow.

Yep, you nailed it jjhobo. The park lost the licensing so they had to change the themes and names of all of the rides. Even if they hadn't, you're right, it would've been cheaper to make the name/theme changes anyway.

Could this be a cost thing aswell? Did they have to pay Led Zepplin royalties or something for use of song and name on the ride? I cant imagine Led Zepplin come cheap so perhaps in re-theming it they can cut out the cost of paying them. I dunno Im just thinking. I suppose if they change it it broadens the appeal of the ride abit more.
