America’s Highest Roller Coaster Opens at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park

Cliffhanger at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Glenwood Springs, CO now has the record of the “Roller Coaster with the Highest Elevation in the U.S. The coaster sits at over 7100 feet above sea level and it just opened for the season this past week. Their coaster, known as The Cliffhanger, was once known as the Thunderbolt in Branson MO’s Celebration City park.

Glenwood Caverns is located on I-70, about 140 miles west of Denver and about 75 east of Grand Junction.

    It would be an awsome place for a wild mouse coaster it would almost make you feel like you were about to fall off a cliff .

      That would be great yeah! I don't know why they didn't think of that. That would probably terrify alot of people. That sounds cool.

    Looks like a cool coaster, but I sadly live in NJ, would have to spend a lot of money to ride one coaster, but this seems fun!
